Who We Are
Diane purchased her first Gordon Setter, "Kit" in 1980 and jumped head-first into the worlds of both hunting and showing. She owned and bred several Gordon's after Kit, but took a step back after getting married, raising her daughter Tory, and moving to a small horse farm.
In 2007 at age 13, Tory received her first English Setter, "Flynn", with the understanding that he complete his American Championship as a part of the contract. Not knowing anything about the sport, she began taking handling classes and was advised to compete in juniors to learn the ins and outs. The pair quickly transformed from chaotic to classy and had many memorable moments in the ring. After what seemed like a lifetime, Flynn finally became Ch. Huntly's Nottingham Archer after a very impressive Breed win over specials. But what was next?
After endless hunting for the 'perfect brood bitch', they came across the very special Bikini x Stoli litter bred by Karen Corey and Conny Helms. To this very day, they will never be able to thank them enough for the love, support, and trust they put into both Diane and Tory to take care of their special girl. "Indigo", the blue bombshell has not only provided so many openings and opportunities in the dog world, but she is the most loyal and understanding companion. At 15 months, Ch. Editions Castle Bravo, finished her championship with 4 majors, several Best in Sweeps wins, and both Breed and Opposite over beautiful specials.
In 2015, Indigo was bred to Am/Can GCh. Reidwoods Just in Time "Hunter", to produce six outstanding puppies, one of which was the Bred-By Dog winner at the 2017 National in Chicago. Both Indigo and the amazing support system behind her is what brings them to where they are today. Bravo!
